About Me

Living Years Photography was born out of my passion for creating artistic non-traditional images. It was originally a different name but was changed in 2013 after the loss of my father to colon cancer. My goal is to create images that elicit emotions and capture those emotions as well. I always strive to capture the essence of the person or people i am shooting.

1959-2013

In my freshman year of college I signed up for my first photography class. My dad gave me his minolta x-700 film camera. He would later purchase my first DSLR and constantly reminded me that he believed in my art. In 2013 I was out of school and my dad was going to the hospital because his colon cancer had returned. He passed away in the hospital on July 19th. When this happened I changed the name of my photo business to  honor him and made sure that all those battling cancer would have the ability to afford family photos. I am proud to offer special discounts to those who are battling or have battled cancer in his honor.
